New York City (Day 2) by Josh

By Josh Powell
Today was a great day! other than it snowed for the first time in NY it was windy and so cold! NY is such an amazeing place to see, but what blows my mind is how many people there are here. And get this a lot of them don't even speak the same language as we do, and even if they do speak English I still have no idea what they are trying to say. I have said "what" so many times today just because of my language barier that I have in my own country. So... Pray for us... that is all I am going to say about that.
New York is amazing and I feel so blessed to be here, and I feel even more blessed just to be on this trip. Psalm 91:2 I will say to the Lord,"He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in him I trust." This was my verse for the day. I was just encouraged by it so much today, because this is a time in my life when I have had to trust God more then ever. And I am so thankful at the same time!!! Second day on the road and so far so good. Thanks so much for all your prayers! And don't stop praying for us any time soon!

The First Day

This is the first day! The journey has begun! Kristina and her boyfriend (AJ) picked us up from JFK airport, the weather isnt perfect but we are happy to be moving! They drove us to Kristina's apartment in the Bronx. We meet Kristina's roommate's Valentina and Katlin, and tommorrow we are going to check out her school (Fortum) and then the City! I am so excited I dont really know what else to talk about. We are supposed to meet her brother(my other cousin) in the City somewhere tomorrow, he works at Madison Square Guardens.
